GEAR // Tinspiration Tee #01
By now you'll know that when we do things we don't just throw them together and these tees are no exception, having been in the pipeline for just over a year!
After testing several different tees for fit, durability and comfort we settled on the Tee Jays Sof Tee® Style 8005 – a heavyweight tee with slimmed sleeves and shoulders. We've worn and washed these tees for months and they hold up great.
We originally went for a discharge only process which allowed the raw cotton to show through. Although we loved these, we had to be realistic about the fact that not everyone else would – especially as raw cotton has all sorts of random colour spots in it – so we looked to try something else.
We didn’t want to just go down the standard white on black screenprint route and liked the vintage look of the raw cotton, so we tried a diluted white print that gives an almost heather grey effect and allows the cotton weave to show through. We think it looks cool AF.
The tee has our Auto Engineering Perverts script on the left breast and a large back print featuring our irreverent mascot Pervin’ Mervin.
